Ashish Jhaveri

Ashish Jhaveri is a seasoned investment banking professional currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of India Investment Banking at Jefferies since October 2023. Prior to this role, Ashish held the position of Managing Director and Head of Corporate Finance/M&A in India at Barclays Investment Bank from August 2018 to October 2023. With a strong background in M&A, Ashish was the Director of Investment Banking and Head of India M&A at Credit Suisse from February 2016 to August 2018. Earlier experience includes serving as Director for Healthcare and Technology at Barclays Investment Bank and Vice President in the TMT sector at Citigroup Investment Banking. Ashish's career began at YES Bank Limited as a Manager in Investment Banking and includes an early role as an Associate at Kotak Securities Limited. Ashish is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has also completed studies at the CFA Institute and earned an LL.B from K.C. Law College.
