Desh Peramunetilleke

Desh Peramunetilleke is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in quantitative analysis and strategic leadership. Currently holding the position of Managing Director at Jefferies since May 2019, Desh previously served as Head of Microstrategy at CLSA from September 2009 to April 2019 and held the same title for Asia at Macquarie Group from April 2005 to September 2009. Earlier experience includes a role as a quantitative analyst at Deutsche Bank from April 2000 to April 2005 and at UBS from June 1995 to January 2000. Desh's academic credentials include a degree from the University of Birmingham, earned between 1987 and 1992, along with education at Royal College in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
