Dr Ingo Scherer

Dr. Ingo Scherer is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Head of Compliance and Head of Legal for Continental Europe at Jefferies since January 2019. Prior to this role, Dr. Scherer held various senior legal counsel positions at UniCredit Bank AG in London, where responsibilities encompassed capital markets, commodities, group mergers and acquisitions, and equity capital markets from September 2010 to January 2019. Dr. Scherer began a legal career as a Managing Associate at Linklaters and also worked as an Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in International Financial Law from King's College London and multiple law degrees from the University of Mannheim, where Dr. Scherer also served as a research assistant. Additionally, Dr. Scherer has training from a Commercial Bank, where the journey into banking and finance commenced.
