Karl Kirkeby

Karl Kirkeby is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment banking and capital markets. Currently serving as a Managing Director at Jefferies since April 2019, Kirkeby previously held the position of Senior Vice President at BB&T Capital Markets from 2015 to April 2019 and Vice President at Harris Williams & Co. from 2007 to 2015. Initial experience includes a role as a Summer Associate at Goldman Sachs & Co. in 2006 and military service as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy from 1997 to 2005. Academically, Kirkeby earned an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a BS in Economics from the United States Naval Academy, complemented by a foundational education at Loyola High School of Los Angeles.
