Ian Wheat

Ian Wheat has experience working with the Jefferson Center for Mental Health as an Associate Medical Director for Medically Assisted Substance Treatment and Pharmacy Services, as well as an Addiction and General Psychiatrist. Ian joined the Jefferson Center in September 2019 and is currently in the role of Associate Medical Director. Prior to that, Ian had a role as a Medical Fellow at the University of Colorado from July 2018 to July 2019. Ian also served as an Adult Psychiatry Resident at the University of Colorado Denver from June 2014 to June 2018.

Ian Wheat completed their education with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Ecology and Microbiology from Dartmouth College in 2009.
