Karen Neville

Karen Neville is an experienced library professional with a robust background in cataloging and library management. Currently serving as the Cataloging Services Supervisor at Jefferson County Public Library since June 2022, Karen previously held the position of Library Director at Red Rocks Community College from January 2018 to June 2022, overseeing library functions and staff coordination. From September 2008 to January 2018, Karen worked as a Technical Services Librarian at Colorado Christian University, focusing on cataloging policies and procedures. Additionally, Karen has contributed to academia as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Denver and an instructor at the University of Colorado Denver, teaching cataloging and information storage courses. With a Master of Library and Information Science and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Denver, Karen possesses a strong educational foundation complemented by early career experience in technical writing and project management.
