Onish Kumar

Onish Kumar is the DC Power Group Leader at Jefferson Lab, where they manage a team of engineers and technicians to support accelerator operations and design requirements. With a strong background in power electronics design, Onish has successfully designed high-performance power supplies for particle accelerators and led various engineering projects throughout their career. They hold a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they contributed to research resulting in an IEEE publication on Augmented Boost Converters. Prior to their current role, Onish served in various engineering positions at Jefferson Lab and other companies, honing their skills in design, project management, and team leadership.
