Ryan Bodenstein is a Staff Accelerator Scientist III at the Center for Advanced Study of Accelerators (CASA) at Jefferson Lab, where they investigate topics related to particle accelerator technology and operations. With over 20 years of experience in accelerator R&D, Ryan has worked extensively on beam dynamics, superconducting radio frequency technology, and public outreach. They received a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the University of Virginia, conducting dissertation work at Jefferson Lab, and have held positions at leading institutions including CERN and the University of Oxford. Ryan is also an Adjunct Associate Research Professor at Old Dominion University, mentoring PhD students.
