Alicia Jordan

Alicia Jordan is a dedicated teaching professional currently serving as a Special Education Teacher in ELA and Math at Jefferson Parish Schools since March 2024, where individualized education plans (IEPs) are implemented to support students with special learning accommodations. As a co-founder of the Krewe of Nandi since March 2022, Alicia fosters a welcoming environment for women aimed at empowerment through community service and social gatherings. Alicia's extensive background in healthcare includes over 19 years at Peoples Health, progressing through various supervisory roles focused on claims operations and provider research, where responsibilities included supervising teams, resolving escalated provider issues, and ensuring compliance with Medicare billing guidelines. Alicia holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Columbia Southern University.
