Deanna Proctor is an experienced educator with a strong background in elementary education, currently serving as a Teacher at Bethune Charter School since July 2022. Proctor has held various teaching positions in the Jefferson Parish Public School System since February 2020 and previously worked with InspireNOLA Charter Schools from 2015 to 2022, focusing on elementary students, particularly in 3rd and 4th grades. Proctor’s experience also includes tutoring for Project Growth Initiative, summer camp counseling at Jefferson Parish Recreation, and teaching in multiple charter schools and university programs. Proctor holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and two master's degrees in Criminal Justice and Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans.
