Katie Bourgeois

Katie Bourgeois, LCSW, has extensive experience in social work, particularly within educational and healthcare settings. Currently serving as a School Social Worker for the Jefferson Parish Public School System since November 2017, Katie provides counseling services to students in grades 6-8. Previous roles include social work at University Medical Center New Orleans, where responsibilities involved assessing the needs of high-risk patients, and at Slidell Memorial Hospital, focusing on patient health recovery needs. As a Child & Family Social Worker at Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services, Katie supported families facing crises, promoting stability and access to community services.
