Abigail Gleason

Abigail Gleason, LMSW, is an experienced social worker currently employed as a School Social Worker at Syracuse City School District since January 2016. Prior to this role, Abigail served as a Clinical Social Worker at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, where responsibilities included providing therapeutic support to adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting and conducting biopsychosocial assessments. Abigail also held the position of Medical Social Worker, where support was offered to cancer patients and their families. Previous experience includes working as a Youth Care Professional at Hillside Children's Center, as well as internships at Cayuga Counseling Services, where skills in individual therapy and case management were developed. Educational credentials include a Master of Social Work from the Greater Rochester Collaborative MSW program and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University at Buffalo.
