Patrick Jenkins

Patrick Jenkins currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer for Jefferson Parish Schools, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Patrick held the title of Superintendent at St. Landry Parish School Board from November 2016 to June 2023. Patrick's career in education management began at Zachary Community School Board, where various administrative roles, including Assistant Principal, Principal, and Director of Operations, were undertaken from July 2003 to October 2016. Additionally, Patrick served as a Major in the Army National Guard from 1988 to 2013, specializing as an Engineer Officer and participating in Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Patrick holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge, a graduate degree from Old Dominion University, and a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics and Science from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge.
