Karthik Sekaran is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in hydraulic systems and project planning. Currently serving as Principal Engineer and Consultant for Equinor ASA at Jefferson Wells Norge since February 2024, Karthik specializes in cranes and lifting operations. Prior to this, Karthik worked at DNV from August 2011 to January 2024 as a Senior Engineer and Engineer in hydraulics, focusing on design verification of hydraulic systems to ensure compliance with technical standards. Karthik's early experience includes a role as a Master thesis student at Volvo Construction Equipment, where simulation of hydraulic systems was a key responsibility, and as an Engineer in Project Planning at Ashok Leyland, contributing to the assembly and testing of EURO 4 compliant engines. Karthik holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Linköping University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Automotive Engineering from PSG College of Technology.
