Chanjoon Kim

Chanjoon Kim has a diverse work experience in various industries. Chanjoon is currently the Founder of perplay.io since January 2022. Previously, they were the CEO & Founder of Jehmi, Inc., a TechFin company offering borderless financial services, from May 2017. Chanjoon also served as the CEO of Bezant Foundation Limited, a blockchain company providing Blockchain-as-a-Service, from December 2018 to December 2019. Prior to these roles, Kim was the CEO & Co-founder of Game N Company, an accelerator that supports global game companies, from November 2013 to April 2017. Chanjoon also worked as the CEO of Dyson Interactive, a holding and investment company supporting game developers, from June 2007 to December 2013. In addition, they co-founded and held the role of CEO at Gorilla Banana Entertainment from November 2006 to July 2013. Kim's experience also includes serving as the CMO and COO of Grigon Entertainment, a PC online game developer, from June 2005 to October 2006, and as a Committee Member at Korea Media Rating Board from August 2002 to April 2005. Chanjoon started their career as the Editor in Chief at GameSpot Korea, where they set up the platform and provided game-related analysis and consulting services, from January 2000 to December 2004. Chanjoon also worked as a Senior Editor at Digital Life from March 1999 to June 2000.

Chanjoon Kim completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hanyang University from 1991 to 1997. In 2003, they attended UCLA Extension to study "21st Century Content for the Global Entertainment Environment." Additionally, in July 2020, they obtained a TensorFlow Developer Certificate from Google.
