Ben Armitage

Ben Armitage is an experienced mining professional currently serving as the General Manager for the Meadowbrook Project at Jellinbah Mining since October 2022. Prior to this role, Ben held the position of Project Director for Eagle Downs at South32 from May 2021 to October 2022. Ben's extensive career includes significant roles such as Chief Development Officer and General Manager of Resource Development at New Hope Group, General Manager of Technical Services & Coal Development at Vale, and General Manager of Broadmeadow Mine at BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance. Ben's expertise is further supported by academic qualifications, including a Finance for Executives degree from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Mining Engineering from UNSW, along with completion of the Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
