Software Engineer II - Platform at Jellyvision

Abir Razzak has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They have experience as a Software Engineer, Back End Developer, and Co-Op Applications Engineer, among other roles.

At Jellyvision, Abir worked as an independent contractor, streamlining ALEX Go integration within ALEX Benefits Counselor. They also created a compatibility layer for ALEX Go's backend using Python, Flask, SQL Alchemy, and MySQL.

At Phrase Health, Abir managed and developed a data mining application using Golang and a secure gRPC connection to communicate with a Scala server hosted on AWS.

Abir served as a Back End Developer at Picwell, where they built and maintained API products, collaborated with frontend developers and data scientists, and improved the core recommendation engine and modeling framework.

At ECFMG, Abir worked as a Software Development and QA Combo Co-Op, building and maintaining Windows applications, performing QA tasks, and documenting company processes.

They also held various positions at Drexel University, including Internal Vice President & Event Coordinator of the Filipino Intercultural Society, CCI Dean's Ambassador, STAR Scholars Participant, and Undergraduate Research Assistant.

Abir's experience also includes roles as a Software Developer at Susquehanna International Group, LLP (SIG), where they fixed bugs, updated databases, created internal websites, and retrieved REST API data.

They worked at Oracle as a Co-Op Applications Engineer, primarily using the Oracle stack for server-side development, database management, and front-end development.

Abir started their career as a Cashier at Burger King Corporation, where they provided quality customer service and advised new employees.

Additionally, Abir served as Vice President & Event Coordinator for the National Honor Society, reviewing event proposals, delegating tasks, and managing paperwork.

Throughout their career, Abir has demonstrated a strong technical skill set and the ability to collaborate with teams in diverse environments.

Abir Razzak completed their education at Drexel University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Software Engineering from 2016 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended North Penn High School and earned a High School Diploma in General Studies from 2013 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Abir has also obtained several certifications. In September 2022, they completed the "How to use roadmaps in Jira" course offered by Coursera. They also completed the "Agile Project Management" course and the "Foundations of Project Management" course, both from Coursera, in August 2022.

Furthermore, Abir obtained the "Java Tutorial Course Completion" certification from SoloLearn in November 2016. Finally, in August 2014, they participated in the Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week program organized by the Foundation for Free Enterprise Education (Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week -- PFEW) and obtained a certification from this program.
