Luigi Basantes

Luigi Basantes has a wide range of work experience. In 2019, they became the Vice President of Engineering at Jelou Latam, where they were responsible for ensuring design requirements were met, overseeing the consistency of user experiences, and managing a team of engineers and developers. Luigi also began working at the Faculty of Engineering Earth Sciences in Espol in 2019 as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they were in charge of the development of a mobile and web application for the collection and processing of architectural data of buildings in real time. In 2017, they became a Mobile Application Developer at Gerencia de Tecnologías Sistemas de Información, where they were responsible for ensuring best development practices and delivering the user the best experience while navigating mobile apps. In the same year, they also began working at CPCCS as a Software Developer, where they were responsible for the development of the mobile application ParticipaEC. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance Software Engineer at Miria Projects from 2016 to 2017 and as an Academic Tutor at Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral from 2016 to 2017.

Luigi Basantes completed their Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering at Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral from 2014 to 2018.
