Maria Lucia Nembhard-Santana

Maria Lucia Nembhard-Santana is a legal professional with diverse experience in various organizations. Currently serving as a Diversity and Inclusivity Officer at Youth Votes Matter since July 2021, Nembhard-Santana also holds positions as a Legal Intern at Jenesse Center Inc. and as a Creative Director at Lisemé Infusions, both since May 2021. Nembhard-Santana directs campaigns for Youth Votes Matter Belize since September 2020 and fulfills a mentorship role in the UWI Law faculty. Additionally, Maria has served as a Case Officer at the Human Rights Commission of Belize and completed a Legal Internship at the Attorney General's Ministry Belize. Previous experience includes consulting at Streamline Consulting and a legal internship at Courtenay Coye LLP. Nembhard-Santana holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from The University of the West Indies and is currently attending Norman Manley Law School.
