Sebastian Dochow is an accomplished professional in the field of optical technologies with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as Director of Global Design & Engineering and Head of R&D Bioimaging Solutions at JENOPTIK since December 2020, Sebastian leads the development of OEM subcomponents for various spectroscopy techniques. Previously, from October 2016 to November 2020, Sebastian held the position of Abteilungsleiter at Jena-Optronik GmbH. Earlier career roles include Project Manager and Postdoctoral Researcher at Leibniz-Institut für Photonische Technologien, where Sebastian managed biophotonic research projects and developed multimodal imaging probes. As a PhD candidate at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Sebastian focused on fiber- and chip-based Raman detection systems for biomedical applications, culminating in a doctoral thesis.
