Donald Schildt

Donald Schildt is a seasoned fire protection engineer with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Fire Protection Engineer at JENSEN HUGHES since July 2015, Donald provides consulting and commissioning services for the Department of Defense on fire protection systems and life safety code issues. Previous positions include Senior Fire Protection Engineer at Bechtel Corporation, where contributions were made to the design of fire protection systems for the Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant, and roles at Fire Protection Engineering and Life Safety Consultant, Cherokee Fire Protection, and the National Institutes of Health, where expertise in fire protection engineering and life safety systems was developed. Donald began the career as a Sprinkler Designer at National Fire Protection, Inc., and East Coast Fire Protection, Inc., focusing on the design of suppression systems. Donald holds a B.S. in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland.
