Jim Garrow

Jim Garrow is a Senior Fire & Emergency Management Consultant and Manager of the Hartford CT office at Jensen Hughes, where work began in December 2017 and included a company-wide rebrand launched in April 2021. Prior to this role, Jim served as a Senior Fire & Emergency Management Consultant at Russell Phillips & Associates from April 2016 to December 2017, and previously held similar consulting positions there from 2010 to 2016, focusing on fire safety and emergency management in healthcare facilities across the United States and Canada. Earlier career experiences include serving as Operations Supervisor and Emergency Management Coordinator at American Medical Response from March 2007 to January 2015, and as Director of Operations at Aetna Ambulance Service from October 2002 to March 2007. Jim's career began at Bristol Hospital, where service as a Paramedic started in 1986 and extended until 2006. Jim holds a Paramedic degree from The University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
