Alan Onslow

Alan Onslow is an experienced tax professional with a strong background in international tax and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Currently serving as Head of Tax at JERA Nex since November 2024, Onslow previously held the same title at Plastic Energy from January 2022 to November 2024. Prior roles include Senior Manager International Tax at SB Energy (SoftBank Group) and Assistant Director in the Energy & Resources practice at Deloitte UK, where responsibilities included advising on international tax and M&A. A secondment to Deloitte Middle East allowed Onslow to focus on M&A transactional work within the energy and resources sector. Alan Onslow holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Warwick, obtained in 2008, and attended Sutton Grammar School for Boys from 1998 to 2005.
