C. Nicole Mason is the Director at Jeremiah Program. C. has over 20 years of experience in social justice and non-profit organizations. C. has served as the Chief Operating Officer at Color of Change (COC), a social justice organization with over 1.5 million members. COC was recognized by Fast Company as one of the most innovative non-profit organizations in 2015 and again in 2018 under Chastity’s leadership. In their COO role Chastity led the overall strategic growth and health of the organization’s internal culture, senior leadership, fundraising, compliance, finance and operations. Her leadership also supported the execution of innovative systems that aligned campaigns and infrastructure to meet the increasing demand for COC’s platforms and political voice.

Before their time at COC, Nicole served as the Chief External Officer at Achievement First from January 2012 to April 2017. In this role, they were responsible for leading the organization’s strategy and implementation around public policy, government affairs, communications, and thought leadership. Prior to Achievement First, Nicole served as the Regional Vice President at The Posse Foundation from November 2003 to December 2011. In this role, they managed all aspects of The Posse Foundation’s regional programs, partnerships, and fundraising in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

Nicole began their career as a Director of Program Services at Mentors Inc from March 1997 to August 2000. In this role, they oversaw all programmatic aspects of Mentors Inc, including program design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Nicole has a passion for social justice and equity and has dedicated their career to supporting organizations that create positive change in society.

C. Nicole Mason has an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. in Organizational Communications from the University of Oklahoma.
