Peter Simon

Peter Simon is a non-Executive Director at Jersey Electricity plc. Peter has previously worked as a machine operator at Wytech Industries, LLC from September 2018 to January 2020, and as an electrician at Union Construction Inc from November 2013 to August 2018.

As a machine operator, Peter was responsible for operating tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process, as well as performing periodic checks on equipment/product and solving problems as detected. Peter also made proper adjustments on equipment to assist in meeting product quality standards and changed machine's setups to meet requirements for different work orders. Additionally, they periodically performed quality control inspections.

As an electrician, Peter executed plans of electrical wiring of service panels including lighting, electrical circuits and intercom systems. Peter also installed electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems. Furthermore, they connected wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components, prepared and assembled conduits and connect wiring through them, and prevented breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc. Lastly, they performed effective troubleshooting techniques to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged circuits and electrical apparatus.
