Stephen Kirby is the current Project Manager Greater Buchan Area Development at Jersey Oil and Gas. Prior to this, they were with Centrica Storage from January 2018 to December 2019 as Project Engineering Manager. Stephen has also worked with Nexen from January 2002 to March 2016 as Engineering Manager and from July 2015 to September 2016 as Engineering Manager for Pipeline failure incident investigation. Additionally, they have also worked with Kerr-McGee (North Sea) Ltd from January 2001 to December 2002 as Health, Safety Environment & Quality Manager - Gryphon Expansion Projects and with GRANHERNE LIMITED from January 1996 to December 1997 as Safety & Risk Engineer - Conoco Boulton Field Development.

Stephen Kirby has a Master of Science in Engineering from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor of Engineering from The University of Sheffield. Stephen is currently a Process Safety & Loss Prevention Engineer at an oil and gas company.
