Doug Hawxhurst is an experienced executive in the fitness industry, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Jersey Strong since February 2017, where oversight of the organization's business operations is a primary responsibility. Prior to this role, Doug Hawxhurst held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Work Out World from October 2004 to February 2017, during which time responsibilities included senior vice president of sales, personal training, and operations, as well as Director of Personal Training. Doug Hawxhurst holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training/Trainer from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, obtained between 2000 and 2004.

Throughout Jersey Strong's history and continuing today, many of the Roma family’s close friends and family can be found in various positions in the company. The closest being Stephen’s wife Heidi who is Director of Retail Sales and the Chairperson of the Jersey Strong Foundation. Jersey Strong is all about people – members and staff alike.
