Aleksandr Prendota

Aleksandr Prendota is an experienced software professional currently serving as Team Lead at JetBrains since December 2017, with responsibilities for the Cloud Leader for Junie, a coding agent. Previously, Aleksandr held the position of Lead Software Developer for the Marketplace project, which transforms the plugin repository into a marketplace for third-party developers with integrated licensing and billing solutions. Additional experience includes software development roles on various projects such as Space, an all-in-one collaboration environment, IntelliJ IDEA, a versatile IDE, and Kotlin, developing services to execute Kotlin code in browsers. Prior to JetBrains, Aleksandr worked as a Software Developer at T-Systems CIS on a price finding service for BMW and was involved in creating internal ticket system services during an internship at T-Systems. Aleksandr also holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from ITMO University.
