Miishe Addy

CEO at Jetstream Africa

Miishe Addy is the CEO of Jetstream Africa, a position they have held since March of 2018. Prior to their current role, they served as a startup mentor and business fellow with MEST Africa from July 2017 to March 2018, advising entrepreneurs on team building, go-to-market strategies, and hypothesis-driven market validation. Addy also created and delivered business curriculum for software entrepreneurs and recruited guest speakers from Bank of Ghana, Uber, Jumia, Damco (Maersk), Tro Tro Tractor, Swiftly, and other reputable companies.

Before their work with MEST Africa, Addy was the founder and CEO of Skilltapp Inc., a platform connecting independent marketing consultants with startup companies. During their time with Skilltapp Inc., Addy wireframed, designed, and programmed a Ruby on Rails prototype, as well as recruited and led the founding team.

Addy has also served as a mentor, advisor, and consultant for multiple companies over the years, including Google for Startups, Jurispect, Global Partnerships, TechnoServe, and Los Angeles Unified School District. In their role as an ethics advisor for Los Angeles Unified School District, Addy drafted wireframes and managed the software development contractor on a public transparency web application. Miishe also counseled officials and employees on governance issues.

Miishe Addy is a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Stanford Law School and an Honors BA in Philosophy from Harvard University. Miishe also attended Phillips Exeter Academy.
