Brian McCluskey

Brian McCluskey has a wealth of experience in the insurance industry, starting in 1992 as an Agency Operations Rep at Great American Insurance Co. Brian then went on to co-found and manage Gemshield, a company specializing in Personal Jewelry Insurance, from 1997 until November 2020. In 2002, they became Vice President at IJB/Wexler Insurance/Gemshield, a division of Jewelers Mutual. In 2011, McCluskey started their own insurance agency, McCluskey Insurance Group, Inc, and also became President of Gem Express Parcel, LLC dba Gempostage in the same year. In 2018, they became President of Gemsurance. Most recently, in 2023, McCluskey joined Jewelers Mutual Group as Vice President.

Brian McCluskey attended Elder High School from 1982 to 1986. Brian then went on to study at the University of Cincinnati from 1988 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Labor and Industrial Relations.
