Joseph Rubin

For over thirty years, Joe was a partner in the real estate advisory practice at Kenneth Leventhal & Company and its successor company Ernst & Young. A management consultant, he supported his clients in developing strategy, redesigning corporate organizations and governance, streamlining business processes, and enhancing risk management functions and controls. He also led diligence teams on numerous debt, equity, and M&A transactions. He recently founded Pine Ledge Real Estate Advisors and continues to provide strategic advice to real estate clients.

Joe was a member of the Board of Governors of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council for over a decade, as well as a member of the Executive Committee and Chair of the Underwriting Committee. He has been an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the Mortgage Bankers Association.

In addition to his work at JASA, Joe chairs the Advisory Board of The Library of the Jewish Theological Seminary. For several years, Joe was a member of the Aging Committee of UJA-Federation of New York and is now a member of the Network Planning and Allocations Committee. Joe is also a member of the National Council of Trustees of National Jewish Hospital in Denver.

Joe earned a B.S. in accounting and economics from Lehigh University and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
