Michael DiNitto, LCSW-R, MPA has a diverse range of work experience in the social work field. Michael DiNitto, LCSW-R, MPA, has a diverse education history. Michael earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with Distinction from John Jay College (CUNY) from 2015 to 2017. Their MPA had a double concentration in Criminal Justice Policy and Administration, as well as Management and Operations. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) with a focus on Macro Social Work from the University at Albany, SUNY, between 2010 and 2013. Michael also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) cum laude in Psychology (Mental Health) and Sociology (Research) from SUNY Polytechnic Institute, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Michael's academic journey began with an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) with Honors in Chemical Dependencies Practitioner from Sports men and women careers from 2006 to 2008.
In addition to their education, Michael has obtained several certifications. Michael is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed by the New York State Education Department in 2017. Michael also holds certifications in Multisystemic Therapy (MST) and Multisystemic Therapy-Substance Abuse (MST-SA) from MST Services, obtained in 2014.
