Alissa Sanderson

Alissa Sanderson has a diverse and extensive work experience. Alissa began their career as a Public Relations and Creative Services Intern at Drake University Athletics Department in 2007. Alissa then worked as a Copy Desk Intern and News Assistant at Des Moines Register from August 2007 to May 2008. In 2008, they joined Spectra Venue Management as a Marketing and Public Relations Intern and later took on various roles as Marketing Coordinator, Director of Marketing, and Midwest Regional Director of Marketing. Alissa worked at Spectra Venue Management until August 2013. From 2013 to 2017, they served as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Trail Drive Management Corp. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Marketing and Communications at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City since August 2021.

Alissa Sanderson earned a BA in JMC and BA in Law, Politics and Society from Drake University from 2005 to 2009. Alissa later completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Colorado State University from 2016 to 2018.
