Chris Herman

Chris Herman is an accomplished Facilities Manager at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh, overseeing the transition from Caterease to Salesforce and managing the organization's facility calendar across three locations since September 2017. Previously, Chris served as Division Director, transforming the educational framework for the teen department to an experiential model impacting over 500 participants annually. Past roles include Diller Teen Fellows Coordinator and North American Junior Counselor Coordinator, where Chris developed innovative educational programming and leadership development initiatives. Chris began a career in youth program management at Beth Hillel Congregation Bnai Emunah, showcasing strong organizational and financial skills. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The Ohio State University, a certificate in Experiential Jewish Education from Yeshiva University, and a Master’s in Jewish Professional Studies from Spertus Institute.
