Phyllis Perskie-Kesslen currently serves as a College and Career Advisor at Bergen Family Center, where the focus is on providing comprehensive counseling to first-generation, low-income high school students throughout the college application and financial aid process. In addition, Phyllis holds the position of Trustee and Board Vice President at Kaplen JCC on the Palisades, overseeing various committees related to youth services and membership. As a Board Member for The Community Chest and a Member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling, Phyllis actively contributes to community engagement and education initiatives. Previously, Phyllis held leadership roles at The Elisabeth Morrow School, including Director of Parent Relations and Director of Alumni Relations, and served a decade as Trustee for the Tenafly Board of Education, where responsibilities included strategic planning, curriculum development, and community outreach. Phyllis possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Tufts University.
