Carissa McKinney

Carissa McKinney has extensive experience in science education and outreach, currently serving as a Middle School Science Teacher at JCDS, Boston's Jewish Community Day School since August 2017. In addition to this role, Carissa has worked as a Program Presenter in the Hall of Human Life at the Museum of Science, Boston since November 2014. Previous positions include Science Faculty at Hillside School, Program Educator at the New England Aquarium, and Environmental Educator at Nature's Classroom Inc. Notably, Carissa's research experience includes roles as an REU Student at the Marine Biological Laboratory and UMass Boston. Carissa holds a Master's degree in Education from Miami University and two Honors BAs in Biological Sciences from the University of Delaware.
