Sylvia Smith has extensive experience in employment support and advocacy, currently serving as a Supervisor for both the Employment Solutions Program and the Boost To Work Program at Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties since November 2022. In these roles, Sylvia develops and manages federally funded programs that aid individuals facing barriers to employment and collaborates with community resources to achieve successful employment outcomes. Previous experience includes supervising the JOBS Program, which focuses on supporting justice-involved individuals through workforce development and strategic partnerships. Additionally, Sylvia holds the position of Court Appointed Special Advocate with CASA for Children of Atlantic and Cape May Counties since August 2021 and has a background in the hospitality industry as a bartender at Caesars Entertainment Corporation from December 2015 to August 2022. Sylvia's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Stockton University, an Associate's degree from Atlantic Cape Community College, and a High School Diploma from The Pilgrim Academy.
