Deborah Bucksbaum

Deborah Bucksbaum is an accomplished legal professional and community leader with extensive experience in business litigation and corporate governance. Currently serving as Chair of the Board of Directors and Board Member at Jewish Family Service of San Diego, Bucksbaum also holds the position of Of Counsel at Scheidemantle Law Group P.C. since April 2019 and Principal at Bucksbaum Law, PC since May 2018. Previously, Bucksbaum acted as Chief Legal Officer at Chelsea Investment Corporation and held partner roles at Scheidemantle Law Group P.C. and Connon Wood Scheidemantle LLP. Notably, Bucksbaum co-founded one of California's first all-women-owned business litigation firms, Bucksbaum & Sasaki, LLP. Educationally, Bucksbaum holds a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara.
