Shelly LaRose is an experienced social work professional with a robust background in case management and counseling. Currently serving as an Older Adult Case Manager at JFS of Greater Kansas City since January 2023, Shelly has held various roles in organizations such as the Greater Kansas City Women's Political Caucus, where Shelly is the Missouri Vice-President, and the State of Missouri-Office of Administration as part of the Missouri State Social Work Committee. Previous positions include Medical Case Manager at Humana and Medical Social Worker roles at SouthernCare and Odyssey Hospice. Shelly’s early career included time at Job Corps as a Counselor, helping students with mental health needs. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Social Welfare in Social Work from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Social Welfare in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
