Joel Breitstein has a diverse work experience in the field of planned giving and endowments, primarily within the Jewish community. Joel started their career in 1985 at THE ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, where they served as Vice President of Legacy & Endowment for over 14 years. In 1999, they joined Legg Mason Trust as a Managing Director, providing charitable planning services until 2002. Joel then moved on to work at the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County as the Executive Director of Planned Giving & Endowments from 2006 to 2008. Following this, they transitioned to the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, where they served as a Senior Vice President in the Planned Giving and Endowments department. Joel's extensive experience in leadership and philanthropic roles demonstrates their expertise in managing charitable planning services and building legacy and endowment programs.
Joel Breitstein completed their undergraduate studies from 1963 to 1967 at the University of Pittsburgh, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Writing. Following this, they pursued a Juris Doctor degree in law from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University, completing their studies from 1967 to 1971.
