Melissa Arden

Chief Planning Officer at Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County

Melissa Arden has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Melissa started their career in 2005 as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago, where they provided legal counsel on labor and employment matters and defended the city against charges at administrative agencies. In 2009, they joined Dycom Industries as an Employment Counsel, a role they held until 2014.

In 2014, Melissa joined the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, where they have held various positions. Melissa started as an Associate Director of Community Planning and Investments, and then became the Director of Community Planning. From there, they were promoted to Assistant Vice President of Community Planning and later Vice President of Community Strategy & Planning, their current role. Melissa'sresponsibilities at the Jewish Federation include strategic planning and community development.

Melissa Arden has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from the University of Florida. Melissa also pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology.
