Robert Ferguson has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and policy field. Robert started their career as an intern at the University of Pittsburgh in 2007, where they worked at the Center for Exercise and Health-Fitness Research. In 2008, they interned at the Jewish Healthcare Foundation before joining the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services as an intern in 2009.

In the same year, Robert began working at the Jewish Healthcare Foundation and held various positions over the years. Robert started as a Program Associate and gradually moved up to Program Manager in 2012. From 2015 to 2020, they served as the Director of Government Grants and Policy. In January 2020, they became the Chief Policy Officer.

Robert furthered their education at the University of Pittsburgh from 2013 to 2017.
