Allyn Moushey Hensley

Allyn Moushey Hensley currently serves as the Chief Policy Officer at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) since June 2022, after previously holding roles as Director of Public Policy and Director of Policy Development at ASCO from November 2017 to July 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Policy Advisor at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services from September 2011 to November 2017, and as a Health Insurance Specialist at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services from June 2010 to September 2011. Allyn Moushey Hensley also worked with USAID as a Social Protection Policy Advisor and Presidential Management Fellow from August 2004 to May 2010. Early career experiences include internships at the National Center for Birth Defects and Developmental Disorders, and positions as a Research Assistant and Social Worker. Allyn Moushey Hensley holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University.
