Ben Barclay

Ben Barclay serves as the Senior Vice President of Strategy, Corporate Development, and Alliances at Zendesk, leading a team of over 50 in strategy development, business transformation, corporate development, and strategic partnerships since 2015. Barclay has driven significant initiatives, including market entry strategies and the launch of a new business segment that now contributes approximately 15% of revenue. Additional responsibilities include overseeing M&A strategy and integration for multiple acquisitions. Beyond Zendesk, Barclay is a member of the Board of Directors at JVS - Bay Area and has a history of advising on strategy and business development. Previous experience includes a summer associate role at Kleiner Perkins, focusing on SaaS and marketplaces, and a tenure as a management consultant at Monitor Deloitte, where engagement spanned various sectors. Ben Barclay holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in International Relations from Carleton College.
