Jane has had a 46-year career in the fields of Marketing Communication, Program Management and Nonprofit Leadership. Beginning with a position with Regional Medical Programs at USC, Jane designed and supported public health efforts in underserved communities, notably collaborating with representatives of urban Native American communities. She then spearheaded public relations and community relations efforts for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Hollywood Community Hospital, and Daniel Freeman Hospitals.
Jane filled a variety of roles, over 27 years, at the American Cancer Society. These included Unit Marketing Director, Unit Field Director, Strategic Director for Corporate Communications, Director for Hope Lodge, and Interim Division Vice President. In these capacities, she coordinated and innovated marketing strategies; supervised teams of volunteers and staff; led the organization’s Entertainment Industry Initiative, and served as faculty for the Society’s International University.
Jane served as Clinical Research Faculty at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine, and as a Lecturer and Preceptor at the UCLA School of Public Health, Pepperdine University’s School of Communication, and the USC Annenberg School of Communication.
Jane currently provides consultation and leadership, as Co-Chair of the Board of Directors for Jewish World Watch, where she formed and co-chairs the Marketing Communication Committee.
She also serves as Vice-chair of the National Alumni Board and Chair of the Marketing Committee for her alma mater, the University of Rochester; Executive Council member for the Women’s Leadership Network of JVS; Chair of the Music Committee of Sinai Temple and a member of the Los Angeles Zimriyah Chorale.
