John Marvil Chua

John Marvil Chua is a skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in design and engineering roles. Currently serving as Deputy Chief Engineer and Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at JFE Techno Manila, Inc. since August 2020, Chua has also held positions as Lead Mechanical Design Engineer and Mechanical Design Engineer within the same company. Recently, Chua worked as an Equipment Design Engineer at 月島機械（株） in mid-2024 and completed an international internship at 株式会社二ノ宮製作所 in Japan, focusing on process and design engineering. Chua's leadership capabilities were demonstrated as the Student President of the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers at Mapua University, where organizational improvements were successfully implemented. Educated at Mapúa University, Chua holds both a Master’s degree and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, along with a secondary education from Chiang Kai Shek College.
