Anunaya Jain has extensive work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Anunaya started their career as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Apollo Hospitals, where they developed workshops, managed rotation schedules, and created the division of Emergency Ultrasound Research & Application. Anunaya then worked at the Mayo Clinic as a Research Fellow and Instructor of Emergency Medicine, where they played a key role in stroke research and outcomes assessment.
Anunaya Jain later joined the International Journal of Emergency Medicine as the Managing Editor, responsible for securing PUBMED/SCOPUS listing and managing journal operations. Anunaya also worked at the University of Rochester Medical Center as a Senior Health Project Coordinator and Departmental Research Fellow, where they developed partnerships, secured grant funding, and played a key role in stroke and cerebrovascular disease research.
Subsequently, Jain worked at Apollo Hospitals again as the Group Service Line Manager for Neurosciences and Emergency Medicine, where they developed growth plans and marketing strategies for these service lines. Anunaya then joined ACCESS Health International as a Senior Advisor, leading quality and process improvement initiatives in healthcare.
Jain later served as the Country Manager at Sierra Solutions Pte Ltd, overseeing profit, revenue, and business development for India and Middle East operations. Anunaya championed the implementation of SAP Foundation for Health applications.
Prior to their current role, Jain worked at IKS Health as the Vice President for Design Development, CARE DATA Operations, and Care Operations - Account Delivery Leader. In these roles, they had overall responsibility for achieving profit, revenue, and quality targets for strategic US healthcare clients. Anunaya managed delivery, implementation, and solutions teams and played a crucial role in organic business growth.
Currently, Jain is the Country Digital Health Lead - India at Jhpiego, where they lead digital health initiatives in the country.
Throughout their career, Anunaya Jain has demonstrated a strong focus on healthcare quality improvement, research, business development, and innovation.
Anunaya Jain began their education journey in 1986 at St. Xavier's High School in Ahmedabad, where they obtained their HSC Certificate Examination in Science & Mathematics. Anunaya continued their studies and earned their MBBS degree in Medicine from Gujarat University between 1999 and 2005. In 2005, Jain pursued further specialization in Emergency Medicine at the Royal College of Emergency Medicine in the UK, graduating with an MRCEM degree in 2008. Anunaya then pursued an MBA in Competitive & Strategic Healthcare Management from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School from 2010 to 2013. Jain also focused on professional development in the field of healthcare improvement. In 2011, they obtained a certificate in Lean Healthcare from Lean Healthcare, and in 2015 and 2016, they completed the Improvement Advisor Professional Development Program at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), specializing in Quality Improvement in Healthcare.
