Murray Lappe, MD, founded eScreen Inc. in 1998. He also founded National Medical Review Offices Inc. and served as its CEO from 1989 to 2001. Lappe has been a pioneer in workplace drug testing since its original introduction in 1983. He was one of the original founders of Forefront Diagnostics, a manufacturer of rapid assay systems for drugs of abuse.
Prior to starting these organizations, Lappe worked in various positions throughout the occupational medicine field. He has nearly 20 years of experience in medical device development and occupational medicine. He holds 17 patents related to drugs of abuse testing, and is the inventor of the eScreen rapid drug testing system. He is currently the chair and CEO of SteriMed and Cynergy Wellness, a medical services corporation.
