Bert Amato

Bert Amato has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 1996, they began their career in startups as an Angel Investor, and in 2000, they joined Farelogix as an Investor and Director. Bert later took on the role of CEO from 2003 to 2005. In 2005, they became an Investor in Echoworx. In 2010, Bert joined Wattpad Inc. as an Investor. Bert also served as a Venture Partner at Golden Ventures from 2014 onwards. Throughout 2016, they took on multiple roles including Director at BenchSci, Director and Co-founder at Artworks for Cancer Foundation, and Investor/Director at Jiffy on Demand. In 2017, they became an Investor at ChefHero. Their last known role was as an Investor at AppHero from 2011 to 2013.

Bert Amato attended the University of Toronto from 1977 to 1981, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Honours.
