Christina Mills has over 25 years of experience in communications and reputation management. Christina began their career in 1994 as an Account Director in the Corporate Division of Weber Shandwick, where they were responsible for global external and internal communications strategy for a global logistics company. In 1996, they became the Head of Media Relations for NatWest, and in 2000 they were promoted to Head of Media Relations for Abbey National/Santander. In 2006, they took on the role of Retail Media Relations for RBS, and in 2007 they became the Global Head of Media Relations for Rio Tinto, where they were a trusted adviser to the Chairman and right hand of the CEO. In 2014, they were appointed as the Director of Group Communications and Reputation for SABMiller, where they led the group team that managed all corporate media relations, internal, brand and digital communications. In 2017, Christina founded their own company, Christina Mills Communications Ltd, where they help organizations manage their reputation with key stakeholders. In 2019, they became a Board Member and Comms Director for Jigsaw - The Dating App, and also began volunteering as Cattery Support for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and joining the Corporate Engagement Board.
Christina Mills attended the University of Birmingham from 1983 to 1986, where they earned an Economics honours degree in Economics.
